Job description
Position Title:Reefer Supervisor- Сargo care for perishable cargoes transported in reefer containers- Perform pre-loading checks. - Verify connection and initialization of reefer containers on loading. - Verify temperatures and ventilation settings of the containers (twice a day). - Dealing with container alarms. - Dealing with container malfunctions in close cooperation with Smith-Holland. - Ensure that container damages are properly reported.The Reefer Supervisor is not part of the regular crew composition and should not perform any regular ships duties.Proficient spoken and written English • Is able to bring his message across • Punctual, meticulous and reliable • Courteous manners with the crew • Proficient in Reefer/container technology • Proficient in shipboard Electrical systems • Able to work independently, with focus on the purpose of his position • To demonstrate PRIDE ( PersonalResponsibility In Delivering Excellence)
