Job Description:Are you looking for a state of the art new vessel, and are you interested in sustainable operations enabling the use of more environmentally friendly energy. Do you have your Master/Chief Engineer/Chief Officer/2nd Engineer license with preferable gas experience and are you from Scandinavian origin than we might have the perfect position for your on one of our clients’ LNG bunker and feeder vessel sailing under Dutch flag.Requirements:-STCW Master/Chief Engineer/Chief Officer/2nd Engineer license A-III + COP for Tankers-Minimum 2 years in rank (Master/Chief Engineer/Chief Officer/2nd Engineer all ships ) experience on tankers, preferably on LPG/LNG tankers-Norwegian, Swedish or Danish domicile and or nationality-Available as from January 2017 for familiarization with the principal, and obtaining Gas tanker qualifications (seatime)Company profile:Lowland International and her clients expect to receive June 2017 the first state-of-the-art LNG bunker and feeder vessel to have been built in Europe.The 5,800m3 vessel will have a duel-fuel engine and many other technical solutions to assure environmental excellence.The design has been optimized for safe and reliable bunkering operations. The vessel is a crucial part of the establishment of a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) infrastructure in the Skagerrak/Kattegat area and the Baltic Sea. The development of this vessel is a part of a Joint Industry Project that is run through the unique collaboration platform Zero Vision Tool, where the maritime industry works together to meet future environmental challenges.The LNG will be delivered from the LNG plant in Scandinavia to the supply bases along the Scandinavian coast.LNG is the most environmentally friendly shipping fuel and meets the requirements set by the Sulphur Directive for shipping as well as the stricter future limits set for emissions such as NOx, particulates and CO2. Consequently, by using LNG for supply vessels our clients customer is experiencing considerably less emission than when using other fossil fuels. Our client is helping their customer to reach their goals of being the most carbon effective company.
