Light Technician Job ID: 4017Rank: Entertainment TechnicianEmployment Type: ContractWe are looking for experienced Light Technicians!As a Light Technician, you will position, operate, and maintain all aspects of lighting, show control, and haze/low fog systems in various entertainment venues and activities onboard. You will work closely with the Head Sound and Light Technician to ensure all related consumables are replenished and available.If you have experience in a similar role; know live performance lighting, lighting control consoles, programs, and show control systems; and can perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on conventional and intelligent lighting fixtures, join us at sea and help us put on a show!Minimum Requirements:Completion of high school or basic education equivalency preferred. Experience:Two to four years professional theatre and studio lighting and soundWorking knowledge of lighting and audio console operation.Technical skills:Ability to bench and maintain a lighting rig and audio equipment to professional levelsAbility to mix monitor and live orchestras to professional levelsWith this opportunity, you will gain new experience and work with multiple nationalities.Contracts are generally around 8 months onboard, with a 2-month (unpaid) vacation, with opportunities to return for further contracts.Onboard you will share a cabin. Your accommodation and meals will be provided free of charge.
