Founded in 1990 Klip Marine Shipmanagement Ltd. (KMS Ltd.) is one of Estonia's pioneering shipping companies which has grown into a professional shipmanagement company for the Baltic region. Being a reliable and dedicated provider of high quality third party shipmanagement we provide our customers with competent, safe and cost effective range of integrated marine services. This includes but is not limited to technical shipmanagement (ISM/ISPS/ISO certification, vessel inspection etc.), vessel valuation, sale & purchase of vessels, project development and management, accounting, insurance arrangements and marine consultations. KMS Ltd. is ISO 9001:2008 certified since 12 July 1999 as well as it is certified in accordance with ISM Code by Bureau Veritas. KMS Ltd. is a member of International Maritime Employer's Committee (IMEC) and Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Since its establishment KMS Ltd. has managed over 40 vessels of various types (tankers, general cargo, bulk carriers, refrigerators and tugs), which trade Worldwide, mainly in Europe. Presently the company manages a fleet of 13 vessels including 6 dry cargo, 3 container carriers, 3 tankers and one oil recovery/ support vessel. However, for the coming years, a substantial program of fleet expansion is anticipated through a growth in our client base. Managed vessels fly various flags and are under supervision of BV, GL and DNV and manned by crew of various nationalities, but mainly from Eastern Europe. KMS Ltd. professional team is dedicated to managing ships safely. This is aided by the fact that company personnel have maritime and economic education diplomas and extensive sea-going and onshore experience.
